Only motorcyclists can understand the fascination of biking!
Since 1978 the founder of our association has been riding motorcycles (to be honest: he started a little bit earlier, but not that "officially"). The moped time couldn't end fast enough and his first real bike couldn't stand in front of the garage early enough. And so it happened, as it did for most of us: the first motorcycle, the first trips, getting together of man and machine, the first experiences in the immediate vicinity and then the first longer tours in Austria and abroad. At that time, the latter were still associated with laborious border crossings, which, however, could just as little harm the enjoyment of motorcycling as the first fall overs.
It's the fascination, the freedom, the similarities and the visions ... accelerated in incomparable adventures!

A stimulus with risk and prejudice
Every turn of the throttle creates a special tingling sensation and well-being: After a hard day at work, many bikers want a relaxing time/tour. Especially with us, the older drivers, there is a touch of nostalgia and exclusive pleasure combined with.
Motorcycling is one of the most fascinating and extraordinary ways of getting around: experiencing power, dynamism and inclination, experiencing nature and enjoying the feeling of freedom and independence.
But motorcycling isn't so unclouded for quite a long time. There are enough prejudices and criticisms, because:
at the same time, bikers often are accused of being reckless or sometimes even suicidal.
And anyone who owns a super sports bike is a 'wild speeder' anyway, because of which some particularly scenic routes are closed on weekends so that the residents can enjoy their Sunday rest without noise from open exhaust pipes.
And female motorcyclists are still ridiculed by some contemporaries, because a women cannot even pick up their bikes themselves due to lack of strength in case of a fall over.
And: we motorcyclists are loud and rude. We have no manners, we are dangerous and, moreover, also violent.
We at BLUEDANUBE BIKERS want to offer you a little insight into the world of us bikers and hope that this will also counter some prejudices and gain more understanding for us bikers!
